Hey y'all, I'm Katy!

 

My husband, Casey, and I moved to Colorado from Texas at the beginning of 2020. I know, great time to move across the country! Haha! It was an adventure for sure.

 

I love cold, crisp, clean air and MOUNTAINS! I really like the snow too. I enjoy shopping, laughing, and eating yummy foods with friends and family. My son, Breck, is the light of my life; it's such a joy being his Mama. Casey and I met in junior college in Texas and then we moved away to study at The Univeristy of Montana. Traveling, adventuring, and experiencing new places are at the top of our list of things we like to do together.

 

I have always had a camera in hand as far back as I can remember.

In 2013, I began KT Photography and have loved every minute of it. My name is Katy Taylor and my mom always signed my name with the letters "KT" and so that's where the name, KT Photography, derives from. I am rebranding to Katy Dowell Photography, but KTP is still very close to my heart.

 

It's a dream come true to be able to take my love of photography and get to call it my job! I LOVE being able to capture those little memories in time that you can carry with you forever. My hope is to make you feel as comfortable as possible and catch those natural smiles and candid moments. The families I meet along the way have become some of my greatest friends and that's what makes my heart happy!

 

It truly is my honor to be able to share in your special memories.
